Washing machine is an appliance that is repeatedly filled water encounters a lot of vibrations while the rinsing and drying cycles are going on. There are a total of four cycles that are performed by every washer – soaking, washing, rinsing, and spinning. It’s not a big deal to fix any of the washing machine problems that may show up from time to time. However, as the washing machines are equipped with a lot of devices and controls, it would be better if the washing machine problems were left in the hands of a genuine, appliance repairperson.
Some of the common washing machine problems that are encountered by every other customer are that it doesn’t agitate; doesn’t drain properly; doesn’t run; excessively shakes, or vibrates; doesn’t spin; the water temperature is wrong. Be sure to check whether the washing machine is plugged or the electric outlet is working in a proper mode if you’ve been wondering why the washer isn’t running. If your problem is that tub isn’t getting filled for the soaking cycle, then you should check the water inlet screens as they may be blocked. Water inlet screens can be cleaned or replaced to correct this problem.
Yet another reason that could be responsible for the filling problem of the washer is the broken status of the timer or temperature selector. Sometimes, excessive load of the clothes dumped into the washer can prevent it from spinning. Unbalanced level of clothes in the tub can cause the washing machine to vibrate or shake excessively. So, make sure you have balanced and adjusted the level of clothes on all the sides of the tub before you on the machine. One should always check the hoses supplying water to the washing machine’s tub for wear and tear so that they don’t surprise you suddenly by bursting out and flooding your room.
